WARNING! WARNING! RED ALERT! RED ALERT!
Most web sites SEEM harmless. Many web site are not!
Many, though they may seem harmless, contain malware, crimeware, and various malicious threats that can infect your network, steal data from you, or even turn your company PCs into "Zombies" that send out spam without your knowledge. They are disguised so well, that most visitors to these sites do not even know the dangers that exist on that site until it is too late.
And even if they don't contain malicious threats, many of them such as various news, video, music, and sports sites can take up needed bandwidth which can reduce both network and employee productivity as employees visit them and access their videos and music.
